Opening Summer 2025 – the opportunity to join the pre-opening team of 1 Hotel Copenhagen and bring a transformative brand to Denmark.  

1 HotelCopenhagen is centrally located at the intersection of the city’s vibrant Latin Quarter and its historic heart; it will feature 282 rooms including 30 suites.  With a Green-Michelin-starred Chef at the helm, the property will also feature locally sourced, seasonal cuisine as eclectic as the city itself at the signature restaurant and bar. Guests and locals alike can find tranquility in the nature-inspired Bamford Wellness Spa, connected with the natural world in the property’s urban garden complete an on-site bee hotel, or embark on an adventure, exploring Copenhagen's rich tapestry of parks and museums on bike.  

As a Night Manager at 1 Hotels, your primary duties revolve around ensuring the smooth operation of the establishment during nighttime hours. This includes overseeing the front desk operations, handling guest inquiries and concerns, managing overnight staff, ensuring security protocols are followed, and addressing any emergencies that may arise. Additionally, you may be responsible for reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing reports for management, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Your role is pivotal in maintaining a high level of service and safety for guests during the night shift. 

About you…

  • Proven experience in guest services and night shift management, ideally in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a night shift team.
  • Expertise in overseeing night front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest service.
  • Ability to resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly and professionally during the night.
  • Experience managing late-night guest requests and ensuring a smooth overnight experience.
  • Proficient with hotel management software and performing nightly audits.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures during the night.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth operations after hours.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in coordinating with night staff and guests.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
  • English proficiency is a must.
